Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, who was a well-known actor, director, producer, playwright, educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to the play school and watching her mom do her job. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials as a child. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. Then on June 20 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to the series. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite television Couples.
