A glittering career sometimes hides the most piteous stories underneath. The winner of the USA and World champions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through plenty of effort and enormous amount of perseverance. Jones grew up with the most difficult of lives being the daughter of an unwed mother who had five other children. Her mother was constantly moving around as well as having resided in a basement church for a length of time. Jones needed to go to a new high school each year due to her nomadic background. Jones moved away from her mom to Theodore Roosevelt to enable her to concentrate on her interest in track. Jones was among the most skilled hurdlers at the time she entered college. She was the winner of the 100-meter hurdle in 2002 at the NCAA Track & Field Championship. She was also on the team who placed second in the 100-meter relay. Jones has won hurdles in the indoor section at NCAA Championships both in 2003 and 2004. The track career after she completed her studies during 2005 Jones began training hard for the track. In 2005 she won winning Torino Memorial race. Brandt moved from Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the close of her teen years. The talent of Brandt was discovered in Auckland through the local cast director Brandt. She was cast in the part of Naevia as the Starz show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences with her performance and became one of the shows breakout stars. Lesley Ann Brandt, born on December 2, 1981, was born in Cape Town South Africa. She is a talented New Zealander performer. Lesley Brandt and her family moved to New Zealand in the city of Auckland.
